How Much Does Repiping Really Cost?
Repiping is one of the bigger plumbing decisions a homeowner can make, so it makes sense to want a straight answer before picking up the phone.
What drives the cost
The size of your home and the number of fixtures matter most, since more pipe and more connections means more labor. The material you choose, such as copper or PEX, changes the price too. Access also plays a role: pipes behind finished walls or under a slab take more time to reach than pipes in an open crawl space.
Why the range is wide
Two homes of a similar size can have very different repiping costs depending on how the original plumbing was installed and how easy it is to access. This is why we always recommend an in-person look before giving a final number, rather than a rough estimate over the phone.
Getting a real number
We give a fixed price before any work starts, based on what we actually find in your home, not a guess. That way you know the full cost upfront, with no surprises once the job is underway.
